How You Can Get Involved
- Complete the pre- and post-survey if you receive one in the mail
- Provide internship opportunities for students….extend the internship network to students from your area as well as local high school students
- Consider ways to offer virtual internships
- Provide job shadowing as a virtual experience for college students or live job shadowing for local high school students
- Engage in online interactions (through the Community Ties discussion forums) with local youth through the local communityties.us web site to connect them with existing career development opportunities in their communities
- Engage in online forums that will post notices of local activities, host discussions of local business issues, provide a vehicle for linking business to online resources of national and international scope and distribute scientifically valid extension information about success factors in small business (e.g., http://www.extension.org/entrepreneurship)
