Hi everyone! My name is Allison Weber and I moved here from the Detroit area in December of 2009. I lived in Mio from 1999 to 2004, and was led back by memories of the beautiful natural resources and friendly community. I am an Americorps member for Oscoda County's MSU Extension 4-H Peer Mentoring Initiative. That is a long title! Bottom line, I am an Americorps member serving my country through service to the youth of Oscoda County. The Peer Mentoring Program meets every other Wednesday in the Mio and Fairview Schools.
