On May 28 and 29 at the fairgrounds there will be a garage sale. This is an annual event that is held at the fiargrounds every year. There is free admissions and parking. There will be lunch availble for purchase at the fairgrounds as well.

 Also if you are interrested in entering the Garage Sale, there will be a $10 table fee. Which is required if you want to be in the sale. If you need  two lots of space you may be required to pay extra. For more details contact Fairview Area School.

Fairview's Prom will be at The Woodland Sanctuary on May 1, 2010. It will start at 6 and end at midnight. The first hour will be spent eating after everyone is done eating there will be dancing and pictures. Pictures are being done by lifetouch, and for anyone who bought a ticket, they will get a keychain with their picture in it and also a flashdrive with all the prom pictures on them.

Fairview's prom has a team of a walk in the park, and is put on by the senior class of 2010.

Fairview High School's Building Trades class has been building a house for Habitat for Humanity all year, and there will be a a Benefit dinner on April 22, 2010 at the Fairview Church.
 
The event will start out with a short video showing the students that worked on the house.  Also of the various stages that the house went through while being built.
 
All profits that are earned go towards the materails for the houses, or the restore which sells furniture and other household items at an affordable price.

Fairview's choir puts on an excellant show every year. You may remeber Cinderella, Little Women, or last  years Sussical. Honk Jr. is the musical Fairview's Choir has choose to do for 2010. Honk Jr. is a play about an ugly duckling who has to find his own way in the world. The leading roles will be played by seniors Lydia Douglas and Ira Esch. The concert is free admissions but donations will be accepted.

 TOFU day stands for Teens of Fairview United, and is put on by Fairview’s BEST class, (a business class). This years TOFU Day is scheduled for March 24, 2010

 TOFU Day is a special day where speakers come in to talk to students 9-12 about current issues. This year’s topics are Abstinence, Self Worth, School Success, School Violence, Driving Safety, Cooping with Grief, and Drug and Alcohol awareness.

Fairview 's Got Talent
This annual event is hosted by Fairview's Middle School and will take place in the multipurpose room on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Admission price is $3.00 per person or $10.00 per family. If you are interested in participating in the talent show you must first audition. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, February 16 at 3:45-5:00pm and Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 4:00-6:00pm.
