All profits go back to Gaylord High School
Every year at Gaylord High we host an even called St. Baldrick's Day. With this event, students and teachers try to raise as much money as they can so that they can shave their heads and give the money to cancer. It is a very popular event and is highly respected within the school. Some students just decide to cut their hair for locks of love which is ok too. The school tends to raise a lot of money for cancer and studends have fun watching this event. St. Baldricks Day is Friday March 12th this year at Gaylord High.
Congratulations to Abel Cruz, the Community Ties feature of the Month. Abel is a drug court probation officer for the 87th District Court and was nominated for being an outstanding community member. To find out more about what Abel does in his community, view Abel's profile.
